ASSEMBLY

the build it bit

FOR THESE BIKES, YOU'LL NEED TO ASSEMBLE THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:

  • Handlebars

  • Front wheel

  • Pedals (It's crucial that these are installed properly!)

  • Seat

  • Reflectors, lights, mud flaps, rear rack, or any other parts and accessories come packed with your bike. These are optional.

YOU'LL ALSO NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING PREPARATIONS BEFORE RIDING YOUR ELECTRIC BIKE:

  • Pump up the tires

  • Charge the battery

  • Check the derailleur and adjust if necessary

  • Check the wheel spokes and true the wheels if necessary

  • Check the brake pads for proper alignment and adjust if necessary

  • Check the brake levers and brake cable for proper tightness and adjust if necessary.

  • Check the height and alignment of the seat to assure it's properly installed for comfort and adjust if necessary.

THE SCREENS

the tech bit

There are two screen variants, that do virtually the same thing but look slightly different. The Bigstone c800 and the Key-Disp KD718.

BIG STONE

This 3.2" screen gives you useful info so worth understanding it.

Pressing the power button turns the screen and motor on. Press again to turn off.

​

Pressing the SET button cycles through response modes.

  • ECO (Economy)

  • STND (Standard)

  • POW (Power)

​

The + and - buttons will move you through the pedal assit modes. 1 being the least amount of help and 5 being easy mode.

​

To access the MENU press the SET and POWER button at the same time for a couple seconds and enter the PIN 0118.

Once in navigate using the + and - and SET to go into a setting and POWER to get back.

This screen offers all the details you need while using your bike.

Press the power button to turn it on. Press and hold to turn off.

Press the + for more pedal assist and - for less.

Press the i to show various different information displays.

Press the +and - together and hold to enter the menu. Use + and _ to navigate and the i button to enter.
